1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, activating, purchasing, or using the AutoNode plugin or accessing any associated API endpoints, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not install, activate, or use AutoNode.

2. Software License & Permitted Usage

AutoNode is licensed under a dual-licensing model conforming to WordPress community standards:

• AutoNode Free: Distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPLv2 or later). You are granted a non-exclusive license to use the free core functionality on any number of WordPress sites.
• AutoNode Pro: Commercial extensions, advanced REST API governance endpoints, custom SEO schema transformers, and human approval gateway modules are licensed per purchase tier:
  • Solo Tier: Valid for activation on 1 production domain (+ local development environments).
  • Pro Marketer Tier: Valid for activation on up to 3 production domains.
  • Agency / Unlimited Tier: Valid for activation on unlimited client or network domains owned or managed by the licensee.

License keys are unique, cryptographically signed strings assigned to your account. You may not distribute, resell, lease, sublicense, or publicly post your AutoNode Pro license keys.

3. REST API Access, Authentication & Security

AutoNode provides a secured REST API gateway designed to interface with workflow engines such as n8n, Zapier, Make, and autonomous AI agent systems.

• API Credentials: You are strictly responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your WordPress application passwords, AutoNode API tokens, and HMAC signing secrets.
• Rate Limiting & Security: We recommend configuring appropriate server-side rate limits. AutoNode includes permission callbacks verified against WordPress capabilities (manage_options, edit_posts, etc.).
• Network Security: You must ensure that all communications with the AutoNode REST API occur over encrypted TLS/HTTPS connections.

4. AI Automation & Content Governance

AutoNode enables one-shot automated publishing from Large Language Models (LLMs) and autonomous agents. When utilizing AI automated pipelines:

• Editorial Responsibility: You retain complete editorial and legal responsibility for all content, images, metadata, and schema published to your WordPress websites via AutoNode.
• Hallucination Guardrails: AutoNode provides automated content validation and sanitization filters; however, these mechanisms do not guarantee the factual accuracy, legality, or quality of AI-generated text.
• Human-in-the-Loop Gateway: AutoNode provides signed magic link approval workflows. It is your responsibility to ensure that review tokens are distributed only to authorized personnel.

5. SEO Engine Integration & Atomic Rollbacks

AutoNode interfaces directly with third-party SEO plugins, including Rank Math SEO and Yoast SEO, to synchronize focus keywords, meta descriptions, schemas, and OpenGraph parameters.

• Third-Party Dependencies: AutoNode is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rank Math or Yoast. Compatibility is maintained across standard releases, but changes in third-party schemas may require plugin updates.
• Atomic Transactions: AutoNode includes transaction rollbacks designed to abort and clean up database writes if an image sideload or taxonomy tag fails mid-flight. While engineered for fault tolerance, we recommend maintaining regular site backups.

You agree not to use AutoNode for any unlawful, malicious, or abusive activities, including distributing malware, spam, reverse-engineering cryptographic validation tokens, or overloading external APIs.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

AutoNode is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wiki of Automation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use or inability to use the software.
